Abstract: The process of "influence on the degree of a student's subjective self-assessment of their abilities, skills, and competencies" was formalized. The introduced parameters and variables numerically measure how much the manifestation of one factor is greater or lesser than the manifestation of another factor. This made it possible to calculate all the model strengths of the manifestations of a student's subjective self-assessment of their abilities, skills, and competencies and evaluate the daily values of the degree of assessment over 25 days. The model deviations of the parameters zi1*ck1 (the k-th manifestation factor (out of 4) were found in the i-th practical session. The matrices Um4 (rang(Um4)=4) and Ym4 (rang(Ym4)=1) were modelled separately such that (1/m)UTm4Um4=I44, Ym4=Um4?1/244, Zm4=Ym4CT44 (rang(Zm4)=4). The matrix of values of z-variables z1,z2,z3,z4 Zm4=Ym4CT44 has a covariance matrix, not a correlation matrix, since its pseudo-eigenvectors satisfy the relations Ст44C44?I44, С44CТ44=I44. A system of multi-meaning equations with 4 semantic unknown variables was developed, one of its solutions was found in the form of a phrase from a compound sentence. A formula for the magnitude of the degree of subjective self-assessment of a student's abilities, skills, and abilities has been derived: y1 = 0.8385*z1+ 0.1778*z2+(-0.9491)*z3+(-0.9491)*z4. The new meaning (y1) is constructed as the sum of newly obtained z-meanings from the meaning equation meaning(y1) =0.8385*meaning(z1)+0.1778*meaning(z2)+(-0.9491)*meaning(z3)+(-0.9491)*meaning(z4). The following extracted knowledge inspires optimism: the phrase with new meaning (y1) contains the words – with a strength of (0.9491)2, which reduces “his inability to recognize the full depth of his incompetence is more severe” and “after training, his ability to recognize the level of his previous incompetence greatly increases.” With this knowledge, the model predicts a return to an accurate assessment of one's abilities, skills, and abilities in the future. The model demonstrated predictive ability.

Key words: The Dunning-Kruger effect, the degree of subjective self-assessment by a student of his abilities, skills, and abilities, stimulating factors in a student, a cognitive model of the process, Inverse Principal Component Model.
