Abstract: The article analyzes the market of mica in the United States. Shows statistics on different types of mica - fine, scrap and sheet, the annual consumption of mica the domestic market. A list of the main suppliers of mica to the USA and volumes of their supplies. Listed approximate prices for various kinds of mica. Investigated the scope of various types of mica, both traditional and exotic. Shows production data of small mica and scrap in various countries, including Russia. Evaluated the possibility of using substitutes of natural mica.
