Abstract: This article provides examples of the main features of the formation of corporate governance models that are used in the world, an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of management principles in Russian companies to determine which of them is the best model and whether it can be adapted to the various economies of most countries. It also examines the practice of corporate governance in Uzbekistan, compares the Western model of corporate governance with other counterparts. Since literature does not specifically define the notion of "corporate governance" and as long as there can not be a general method based on a comparative study, most authors view each management model as specific, appropriate for each country.
