Abstract: Chingiz Aitmatov is an outstanding Kyrgyz writer whose work significantly influenced world literature in the 20th century. His works, such as "And the Day Lasts More Than a Century," explore profound themes of human nature, identity, and the historical fate of a nation. Aitmatov masterfully combines elements of folklore and mythology with modern realities, creating multilayered and deep narratives. An active participant in the cultural life of Kyrgyzstan, he became a symbol of preserving national identity and values. Aitmatov's legacy continues to inspire readers and writers around the world.
