Abstract: Chingiz Aitmatov is an outstanding Kyrgyz writer, whose work had a significant impact on the world literature of the 20th century. His works, such as "And the Day Lasts Longer than a Century," explore deep themes of human nature, identity, and the historical fate of the people. Aitmatov masterfully combines elements of folklore and mythology with modern realities, creating multi-layered and profound works. An active participant in the cultural life of Kyrgyzstan, he became a symbol of the preservation of national identity and values. Aitmatov's legacy continues to inspire readers and writers around the world.
