Abstract: In the article, on the basis on fundamental provisions of psychophysiology, the theory of dominant, the theory of functional systems, the biological theory of emotions, regularities of development of the common adaptation syndrome, the features of power supply for intensive nervous activity in psychological stress, the analysis of influence of negative psychological stress within the first year of life on formation of coping strategies and eating behavior of the child, which are realized during the whole life, was carried out. The basis for formation of a coping strategy is based on genetic and transpersonal information, and then, according to the provisions of the transaction analysis of information from the moment of conception to the age of 6. An integrative approach in consideration of psychoemotional factors in the child and the nursing mother allowed to approach the interpretation of formation of coping strategies within the first year of life from new positions. The impact of uncomfortable situations on the child's organism, in the absence of well-timed attention of parents to them and ensuring basic needs for warmth, care, food and safety, acts as a stress factor. This, combined with information about stress arriving through body contact and with milk, creates prerequisites for formation of negative patterns of perception of the world. Decrease in lactation against psychological stress and reaction to introduction of supplemental feeding in the form of manifestation of somatic symptomatology promote perception of the world as hostile and formation of mistrust towards it. In total it creates prerequisites for formation of maladaptive coping strategies. Thus, negative stress within the first year of life creates prerequisites for formation of maladaptive coping strategies and eating behavior, which can be realized in the future.

Key words: psychological stress, first year of life, theory of dominant, theory of functional systems, negative patterns, maladaptive coping strategies, eating behavior, unsatisfied needs, negative emotions.
