Abstract: The importance of improving the basic mechanisms of investment attractiveness of agro-processing enterprises in Azerbaijan are considered in the article. The essence of the main mechanisms of investment attractiveness of agro-processing enterprises in the context of global economic challenges and transformations of economic processes in the world is analyzed. The dynamics of agricultural production, crop production and livestock, grain, meat, cotton, grapes, sugar beet, fruit and berries, melons and melons, vegetables, milk and eggs, sugar and sugar, butter and vegetable oils in Azerbaijan for 2011-2017 are considered. The volume of foreign investments in the non-oil sector of Azerbaijan for 2011-2017 and poorly using the potential for investment activity at agro-processing enterprises are analyzed. The importance of increasing the investment attractiveness in these enterprises was noted and a number of proposals on these problems are given.
