Abstract: International experience on creation and development of technology and industrial parks in modern conditions is considered in the article. The role of industrial parks in creation of effective innovative and investment climate in the country is analyzed too. Need of development of industrial parks for development of non-oil sector of the Azerbaijan Republic is improved. The principles and criteria for evaluation of a role of industrial parks in formation of productive sources of economic growth in Azerbaijan are generalized. Residents of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial park and its value in development of national economy are considered. Other industrial parks of the Azerbaijan Republic are noted also. The role of such economic mechanisms as industrial parks in realization of strategic objectives of the Azerbaijan Republic is generalized at the end of article.
