Abstract: In this paper, from a scientific point of view, the issues of vibrations of mechanical systems with a finite number of degrees of freedom under the influence of mechanical impulse loads are considered. The aim of the work is to study vibrations of structures with a finite number of degrees of freedom under impulsive disturbing loads, taking into account the viscoelastic properties of deformable elements. For this, various means of protection against REA impulse loads were calculated, which include dampers, springs, gaskets, shock absorbers. To achieve this goal, an analysis was made of the vibration of the REA block (with and without masses attached) from vibration effects; a mathematical model of the influence of REA parameters on the resonant state of the mechanical system, as well as on the magnitude of the oscillation amplitude, is constructed.

Key words: mechanical system, vibration unit, vibrations, momentum, shock absorber, damper.
