Abstract: The fact that Nietzsche saw superiority in Buddhism. It is namely in here one can gain ideal of being free from truth. Since the content of this ideal differs from Buddhism. However, acting based on this is similar in form: struggling with conscience and the uniqueness of imaginary “I”. The metaphoric specific style related to this has aphoristic and metaphoric peculiarity. Reassessing values could be compared to certain extent both in Buddhism and Nietzsche. This sort of reassessment in Buddhism will lead to going out of the boundaries of life and death. In Nietzsche, based on this experience, one could observe the complete victory of “life”, but it will be equal to madness.

Key words: Buddhism, Christianity, Humanness, God is dead, slave morality and master morality, Zarathustra, overman, philosophy of life, nihilism.
