Abstract: The problems of increasing the role of the household in the economic development of the Nakhchivan region are explored in the article. The specific features of the development of the Nakhchivan region, the role of households in its development and their functions in the processes of the region's economic development are analyzed with this purpose. A number of suggestions and recommendations on the importance of the household in accelerating the economic development of the Nakhchivan region are given at the end of the article.
