Abstract: The life of Moses is one of the most common biblical and Qur’anic themes in the world's visual arts and literature. The article deals with the personification of the image of Moses in classical Uzbek literature. Based on the Qur’anic verses, classical Uzbek writers, poets and historians in an original and very colorful way give the image of Moses, and especially his story with Khizr.
