Abstract: The article examines the problem of non-emotivity of phraseological units based on the material of the modern German language. The purpose of the article is to determine the content of the concept of non-emotive phraseology and to show that phraseological units used in written (in official business and journalistic) discourse form a separate class in the system of non-emotive stable phrases with related semantics.
