Abstract: The modern approaches to valuation activities in the real estate market are considered in the article. The features of the development of the real estate market and its price mechanisms are analyzed with this purpose,. The essence of appraisal activity in the real estate market is revealed, taking into account the effectiveness of privatization processes. The main approaches of the appraisal activity organization in the real estate market are considered. Generalized and given a number of proposals to improve the effectiveness of valuation activities in the real estate market.
