Abstract: A solution to the problem of safety of patients with hypertension in conditions of severe viral infection is proposed. A special salt mixture has been developed. The salt mixture consists of the following components, wt. %: sodium chloride in the form of instant table salt - 30-40; magnesium citrate - 10-15; dry roots of common calamus, ground to a dusty state - 20; dry leaves of Echinacea purpurea pounded to a dusty state - 20; dry pounded dill to a dusty state - 10-15.The antihypertensive salt mixture with a reduced sodium chloride content has a salinity identical to ordinary table salt, a pleasant aftertaste and aroma of dill. Does not cake during the year. Contains magnesium citrate and herbal ingredients that improve the condition of the immune and cardiovascular system. It is intended for use instead of ordinary table salt in an amount from 5-6 g per day (norm of the World Health Organization) to 12 g per day (maximum daily norm of table salt) for the prevention of hypertension and viral diseases. It is also recommended for therapeutic nutrition of patients with hypertension instead of ordinary table salt in conditions of severe viral infection.
