Abstract: A new ligand based on benzotriazole and thiourea was synthesized and its conditions were studied. We checked whether the composition and structure of the ligand formed by changing the molar ratio of the initial substances entering into the reaction, properties, and features of the dependence of the product yield on the pH value depended. The ligand resulting from the reaction was also analyzed by IR spectroscopy and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis.
