Abstract: The paper highlights the structure, commentaries, margins, and glosses of the work “Sharḥ al-Maqāṣid”, which is considered an important source on the sciences of Kalām written in Samarkand in 786/1384 by one of the most well-known scholars of ḥanafī-māturīdī teaching Saʿd al-Dīn al-Taftāzānī (722-792/1322-1390).
