Abstract: In today's global environment, engaging with diaspora politics is crucial. To fully realise the potential of its diaspora community, promote economic growth, cultural preservation and social inclusion, and build relationships with its diaspora to reap mutual benefits and achieve sustainable growth, Uzbekistan needs to implement a diaspora engagement strategy. This article looks at India's “Pravasi Bharatiya Divas” diaspora engagement policy and focuses on the benefits it has for Uzbekistan. We have found that this policy benefits Uzbekistan by promoting networking opportunities, knowledge sharing, investment and cultural preservation. It also strengthens ties with the Uzbek diaspora and harnesses their skills and resources for the growth and development of both countries.
