Abstract: The effect of the biopreparation Zamin-M on seed germination, plant growth, and photosynthesis ability of the arugula plant was studied. In the experiments, phenological observations of the growth and development of plants were carried out, the effect of the biopreparation Zamin-M on the above parameters of plants was investigated. Pre-sowing soaking of seeds with a solution of Zamin-M promoted an increase in seed germination energy by 20% ± 5% and germination by 15-20%. The dependence of the germination of seeds of arugula on the concentration of Zamin-M solutions used for treatment (from 10-1M to 10-4) has been established. At other concentrations, there was no significant effect. By the nature of the action Zamin-M exceeded the control by 15 ± 5%, weight by 70 ± 6%, root length by 183 ± 17%. As a result, the development of plants was accelerated and the stimulating effect of Zamin-M on the growth of plants in height was maintained throughout life. At all stages of ontogenesis, a significant (from 20% ± 5% to 80 ± 10%) increase in plant weight was found in comparison with the control. The net productivity of leaf photosynthesis under the action of Zamin-M increased (by an average of 20%). Its use can be recommended for the cultivation of arugula.
