Abstract: One of the specific features of an ESP letter is its authenticity. Written assignments given to students differ depending on their specialization. For EAP (English for Academic Purposes), these are usually articles, abstracts, even research papers. However, English for Professional Purposes requires other types of written assignments such as reports and lectures, letters and emails, notes or instructions.

Key words: foreign language, technology, method, technique, specificity of the language.
