Abstract: To date, one of the most relevant scientific areas of modern jurisprudence is medical and legal relations, studying the issues of legal regulation of the activities of medical workers. Considering medical and legal relations in the civil direction, first of all it is necessary to characterize the legal component of the objects of these legal relations, which can be divided into the party receiving medical services and the party providing them. Under the concept of a party receiving medical services, it is customary to understand patients who are also consumers of medical services.
