Abstract: This article provides the development and describes the experimental testing of the course program “Pronouns of the Russian language: meanings and functions”, which confirms the idea that the study of the grammatical structure of the Russian language in a foreign language audience is due to some difficulties. On the one hand, this is due to the specifics of the studied linguistic material, possible discrepancies in the native (Uzbek) language of the trainees and the Russian (studied) language due to the fact that these languages are unrelated, as well as different in morphological structure, on the other hand, one should take into account some methodological traditions, extralinguistic factors that are important to know for a teacher of Russian as a non-native language.
