Abstract: The article addresses the communicative functions of contact strategies in the training of Russian as a foreign language. The proposed tasks contribute to acculturation: familiarity of foreign speakers with some behavioral patterns of intercultural communications, identification and analysis of verbal and non-verbal methods in communication strategies of various social groups.
