Abstract: In this paper, variational iteration method, Adomian decomposition method and method of separation of variables has been applied to obtain exact solutions of fractional telegraph and diffusion equations. It is shown that these methods are effective and more powerful mathematical tools for solution of the partial differential equations of a fractional order.
