Abstract: In the conditions of the modern “motivational crisis”, it is necessary to focus on the intellectual and creative potential of the student, increase educational motivation, and reduce social tension. This makes it relevant to comprehensively study the specific characteristics of various social groups of students to satisfy the educational motivation of adolescent students. To solve this problem, it is necessary to take into account all the factors identified during the study that determine the direction and specificity of educational motivation.
