Abstract: The authors note that extreme sports are classified as non-standard sports and are positioned in various service markets as active recreation, Hobbies, extreme tourism, corporate events. The purpose of this research is to show at the conceptual level the essential idea of a person about extreme sports. Research materials. Studying the subject "Biomechanics of motor activity" students of the Kuban state University of physical culture, sports and tourism analyzed the problem of development and Hobbies extreme sports and especially teenagers who do not represent all the pros and cons of such sports Hobbies. Teenagers are not physically and mentally prepared for such serious physiological changes taking place in the body. As it turned out, citizens of different age groups do not even imagine what extreme sports are developing in Russia and in the world. As a result of the research was compiled by students dictionary-reference. It includes 50 extreme sports.
