Abstract: The article explores the importance of the rhetorical aspect of the speech culture in the English and Uzbek languages. The characteristic features of the interpretation of linguistic units in the compared languages and their use by the owners of the language in their speech are analyzed. It has been proven that the formation of a high speech culture, eloquence, the ability to speak to the public and other features in people, contributes to express the thoughts clearly and definitely. In world linguistics, despite the past periods, the issue of speech culture has not lost its relevance. Now, an increase interest in the study of various languages, the establishment of international relations contributes to the emergence of a demand in speech culture and the development of a speech culture of people more than before. Today, developing language and culture, scientific researches in this sphere of society and language, require multifaceted analyzes of various aspects of the speech culture within the framework of related and unrelated languages.
