Abstract: The article presents theoretical views on the study of the author's idiostyle, which is one of the problematic issues in the field of poetic syntax. Within the framework of the Uzbek poetic syntax, the importance of studying the author's idiostyle as a separate category in the study of Uzbek poetic speech based on the experience of world linguistics is emphasized.
