Abstract: The article deals with political and legal ideas and views on human rights in the teachings of Farabi. The author notes that problems with respect to human rights and freedoms, equality and justice have not only bothered Western scholars. This work is also devoted to the works of many thinkers and scholars of the Muslim East, including al-Farabi. He is one of those scientists who has a significant contribution to the study and development of human rights and freedoms, as evidenced by his calls for the creation of a just state and society.
