Abstract: The problems and prospects for improving the mechanisms of development of the real estate market and state control in Azerbaijan are examined in the article. The main mechanisms and problems that are important for the formation and development of the real estate market are analyzed with this purpose. The significance and essence of the elements of state control over the activity of the real estate market are considered. The importance of intensifying the development of real estate in the face of global economic challenges is noted. The necessity of improving the system of state control over the real estate market in Azerbaijan is grounded.
