Abstract: The paper reviewed the construction of medical information systems (MIS) and evaluated the effectiveness of the implementation of information systems with various functionality for medical care institutions (MCI), united by a territorial authority. In addition, the paper identified the negative and positive aspects of existing systems, and presented data showing improved performance of doctor’s outpatient when entering and processing of information by the MIS.
