Abstract: Uzbek folk tales have been translated into the languages of many peoples of the world. Russian Russian language occupies a special place in this regard, as for many years the Russian language has played the role of the intermediary language in the process of translating Uzbek fairy tales into other languages of the peoples of Europe and Asia.
