Abstract: Each society creates its own unique, due to the characteristics of its development, religious and spiritual-moral environment. In this sense, the spiritual and moral environment of society is a socio-historical phenomenon. The article discusses the problem of moral formation of a person, raises questions of spirituality in moral education, defines the fundamental guidelines of moral education, principles of morality. The author speaks of the need to form a definite idea of the integrity of the personality, of the meaning and value of human activities.
