Abstract: The multi nomenclature of machined parts, existing in the conditions of modern production, requires a change in the methods of decision - making in the formation of layouts and operation of flexible production modules. The technique of experimental studies in industrial conditions for the evaluation of the GPM by the criterion of reliability and evaluation of the readjust ability of flexible production modules is described. It is shown that the extreme reliability tests of the GPM allow for a relatively short period of time to obtain statistical data on the failures of module subsystems.
