Abstract: In this article, the author defines the formation of the information society and the information space, the role of information and information and communication technologies. It analyzes the information security of the Russian Federation and how to ensure it. The influence of information security on the national security of the state and its stable development is studied. The relevance of ensuring information security and the mutual attempts of its effective implementation between states are analyzed.
