Abstract: On the eve of the introduction of Islam, Central Asia was a region where the assimilation of different peoples and cultures was active, and various religions and doctrines were deeply rooted in the region. These beliefs have had a significant impact on the socio-political life of society. The article describes the ancient pre-Islamic religions and governing system of Central Asia on the basis of primary sources and scientific literature.
