Abstract: The relationship between religion and science is the subject of ongoing debate in philosophy and theology. The interdisciplinary field of “science and religion,” also called “theology and science,” is called upon to answer these and other questions. He studies the historical and contemporary interaction between these areas and gives a philosophical analysis of how they are interconnected. Since the 1960s, scholars in theology, philosophy, history, and science have studied the relationship between science and religion. Science and religion are a recognized field of study through specialized journals, academic departments, academic societies, and periodic conferences. Most of its authors are either theologians, philosophers interested in science, or scientists with long-standing interests in religion, some of whom are also ordained to the clergy. In this article, the question of the relationship between science and religion is devoted to the basis of scientific research.
