Abstract: In this article, the current process in Karakalpak prose was studied, especially the features of the works of the small epic genre, using the example of the works of writers Abdimurat Atajanov, Umrbay Uteuliev and Marat Taumuratov. In addition, the differences and characteristics of their works are revealed when interpreted through the language of the authors of the work and their distinctive style.
