Abstract: The article discusses the historical aspects of the formation and development of the pledge institution in the Kyrgyz Republic. The author focuses on the study of the features of legal regulation of collateral relations and separately focuses on the historical development of collateral relations from the feudal period to the modern stage of economic relations of the Kyrgyz Republic.
