Abstract: The grammatical structure of the oykonyms of the Denau District of the Surkhandarya area is discussed in this article. Simple, joint, and compound oykonyms were investigated as simple, joint, and compound oykonyms in the same territory. The toponymization of derivative terms gave rise to the majority of the oykonyms in the area (onomastic method of conjugation).
