Abstract: The use of health-related websites and information about various diseases is becoming more common in the world, so there are some concerns about its quality. Various factors affect the quality of health websites, the visual structure of which is one of the main ones. The purpose of this study is to explain the role of visual elements of health websites. The structure in users' views on their quality and reliability, as well as its role in obtaining medical information by users. In addition, the need for a comprehensive guide to the development of such websites is discussed. The review showed that the appearance of a health website plays an important role in assessing users' trust in it. In addition, it turned out that there is no comprehensive national or international health guidelines. Given the importance of the visual structure of health websites, there is a need to develop guidelines to address the problems of inconsistent, poor or personalized design of health websites.
