Abstract: The article examines the techniques of epic and lyrical description used in the poem "Confession" by G. Seytnazarov. At the same time, the ideological and thematic meaning of the poem is analyzed to a certain extent. As a result, the genre and artistic features of the poem "Confession" by G. Seytnazarov have been revealed.
