Abstract: The article deals with symmetric vibrations of a three-layer elastic plate. Symmetric equations for vibrations of a three-layer elastic plate are obtained. A system of equations of vibrations of a single-layer elastic plate is derived from the obtained equations. Comparison of solutions of equations of vibrations of a single-layer elastic plate with solutions of equations of other authors is carried out. The comparison results show the reliability of the obtained equations.
