Abstract: This given article discusses the use of English borrowing in the texts of Russian and Uzbek official-business documents at the end of XXth – beginning of XXIst centuries. The materials of scientific linguistic literature are analyzed; the beginning of the penetration of English lexical units into Russian and Uzbek languages. In the article, the following are examined in detail on the factual materials: 1) the structure and phonetic, semantic and morphological adaptation of Anglicisms in the texts Russian and Uzbek official written monuments; 2) primary fixation of English lexical units in historical business acts of the Russian and Uzbek languages; 3) the role of English words in enriching the vocabulary in analyzed languages; 4) English lexical units, not fixed in Russian and Uzbek explanatory dictionaries.
