Abstract: The evolutionary processes of the functioning of modern socio-political systems are considered. The dominance of development models based on the principle of maximum satisfaction of the needs of members of the society within the framework of the economic-centric concept is shown. The presence of effective components of economic centrism, which contribute to the development of the intellectual potential of all employees, regardless of professional training and social status, is noted. The trends in the transformation of the middle class and the increase in the share of the "typical proletariat" in the development of practical applications of NBIC technologies that contribute to robotization and automation of the main processes are considered. The necessity of developing the intellectual component in all institutional components of socio-political systems is substantiated.
Key words: intellect, post-industrial economy, society, development models, technological hysteresis, economic centrism, precariat.
