Abstract: In the framework of the model of mechanics of heterogeneous media, a numerical study of the process of attenuation of detonation waves in gas-suspended unitary fuels by layers of homogeneous and inhomogeneous inert particles was performed. It was shown that the diameter, layer lengths and heterogeneity of inert particles have a significant effect on the process of interruption of a heterogeneous detonation wave in gas-suspended unitary fuels.
