Abstract: This article discusses the importance of teaching foreign languages in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Various aspects of the formation of speech in a foreign language are highlighted. Particular attention is paid to the problems of teaching communication, the communicative function of the language, the communicative approach to learning, the speech and practical orientation of training, speech and language competence.
