Abstract: A solution to the safety problem of persons with a predisposition to the disease with diabetes and hypertension is proposed by using instead of ordinary table salt a special treatment and prophylactic salt phyto-mixture. The proposed therapeutic and prophylactic salt phyto mixture consists of the following components, mass. %: sodium chloride in the form of an instant soluble scaly boiled salt 40-50; dry leaves of laurel noble crushed to a dusty state 25-30; dry blueberry leaves, crushed to a dusty state 25-30. Salt phyto mixture can be used to add salt to ready-made meals in a comprehensive preventive diet to prevent diabetes and hypertension. The proposed treatment and prophylactic mixture, in agreement with the attending physician, can also be used in the clinical nutrition of patients with type 2 diabetes and arterial hypertension. The proposed therapeutic and prophylactic salt phyto mixture has an ideal salinity of salinity of ordinary table salt and has a pleasant smell and taste of noble laurel and blueberries.
