Abstract: The article presents the results of a study of the propagation of vibrational waves in soils and building structures. In order to reduce the level of vibrational waves, the relief of the location of the railway track was changed. We investigated the effectiveness of a railway bed located at an elevation of 2 m. The problem was solved by the finite element method, reducing to a flat problem the theory of elasticity.
