Abstract: In this work it is given a description of a remote laser lidar for monitoring terrestrial vegetation. Spectral curves of laser-induced leaf fluorescence in the vegetation section were measured on the example of cotton. Informative spectral features for reliable remote identification of the plant state were determined. In the work different laser systems were used for illumination of cotton.
